Update on Moving Plans

We have, at long last, started the moving process for real. Martin received a job offer in the Albany-area and accepted it. He starts August 19th, so we will be trying to get there as soon as possible.

CSA

We decided to join Porter Farm's CSA again this year. After plans to move late Spring fell through, we figured it was worth it to try. We decided to split a share with our neighbors, Ben and Joy, and thus far it has been an influx of yummy veggies! Woo hoo. Not too much in the way of fancy made things yet this year... some zucchini breads and muffins, lots of roasted veggies. Here was some of what we split between us this past week....

Helping out with Laundry

I just found these pictures on the camera, so Martin must have taken them. We have a laundry cart in the basement, and apparently Charlie was helping Daddy flip the laundry or something....

Scrubbing in the Tub, or sink for that matter...

With Charlie being able to sit up, and baby bathtub inserts being as unsteady as they are, we have taken to giving Charlie his bath in our kitchen sink. He absolutely loves this- he loves getting to touch the water coming out of the faucet and finds the process of getting rinsed off to be hilarious.

Here are a few shots from the other night...

Walking Down Park Ave

While Samantha was here, we decided to go to check out Park Avenue in Rochester.
We had fun toodling through all the different shops and checking out the different places to eat. We decided to eat outside at a cafe called Magnolia's- which turned out to be a wonderful decision. We had delicious sandwiches and then moved on to our dessert- chocolates we had purchased at Parkleigh.

Niagara Falls Part II

Samantha came out to stay with us this weekend, and we took her out to Niagara Falls. She had never been there and it was a beautiful day.
